Reverse Sled Drag

BASE MOVEMENT · HOW TO DO IT

Reverse Sled Drag

Start lighter and use less range than you think you need. The rep should stay smooth from beginning to end.

  1. 01
    Set up

Face the sled, take the straps or handles, and walk back until they are tight. Stay tall.

  2. 02
    Move

Walk backward with short steps, placing the forefoot first and letting each knee bend.

  3. 03
    Finish

Straighten each knee as you move the sled, but do not snap or lock the joint at the finish.

Short rangeShort range

Reverse Sled Drag

Sets: 4–8 · Distance: 20–40 metres

Accumulate knee-extension volume without a heavy eccentric cost.

Short range: Short range means the target muscle finishes squeezed in its shortened position.

WHY IT EARNS A SPOT

Own the position,
then earn the load.

Each backward step finishes with the knee extending as the quads shorten. The sled keeps tension continuous and makes load easy to scale.
