Banded Ankle Eversion
BASE MOVEMENT · HOW TO DO IT
Banded Ankle Eversion
Start lighter and use less range than you think you need. The rep should stay smooth from beginning to end.
- 01Set up
Sit with the lower leg supported and loop a band around the forefoot so it pulls from the inside.
- 02Move
Keep the shin still and turn the sole outward against the band without moving the knee.
- 03Finish
Pause at the end, then return inward slowly instead of letting the band snap the foot back.

CALVES & ANKLES / 39
Banded Ankle Eversion
Sets: 3 · Reps: 12–20 per side
Strengthen the lateral ankle by turning the sole outward under control.
Control range: Control work builds strength through rotation, balance, or a position you hold steady.
WHY IT EARNS A SPOT
Own the position,
then earn the load.
Direct eversion trains the peroneals to resist unwanted rolling and control the foot without substituting through the knee or hip.
